These are pictures taken on Easter Sunday morning when a number of the congregation met at 6am to pray outdoors as the sun rose over the River Ugie.
Yes, it was a bitterly cold morning as evidenced by the photos underneath.
Some of the younger members well wrapped up for the service and I don't blame them.
Yet despite the unseasonably cold weather (due partly to Easter being so early this year) everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy the service remembering the occasion all those years ago when it was first discovered that our Christ who had died on the cross just a couple of days earlier had beaten not only death but was alive with us all. He had paid the price for our sins so we could be forgiven today.
Because of His sacrifice we have something to celebrate today and every day.
