Over 60s Bus Run
Wednesday 13th August the Annual Over sixties Bus Run will go to Dundee. Any one who would like to know more ask Morag Reid for details. (Shame it is not on the 15th only two days later — I don't become 60 until the 14th August but maybe next year after all I will have qualified by then.)
Spreading the Good News in Peterhead. (postponed)
Some of us here in Peterhead are not very good at telling others about the Good News of Jesus and what he did for each and every one of us. To help us all fulfil that great commission outlined in the Gospels for us all to do we are running some special events.
Thursday 21st August 2008 7:30 - 8:30 PM held in the church "How to invite people to church"
Saturday 23rd August 2008 10am- 12 noon Morning of Evangelism — Speaking, singing, drama, handing out leaflets in Peterhead town centre. Come along and get involved or simply to support in prayer.
Sunday 24th August 11am "Bring a Friend" Service Special Service so make sure you ask someone to come to church. Meet them at the church or bring them with you.
25th to 29th August Week of Revival
Pray for a revival in the world and in Peterhead for 30 minutes each evening at 6:30pm. Meet at Peterhead Methodist Church all welcome.
Starting 1st Sept Man, Sin and Salvation
This 3 week event takes place on Monday evenings at 7:30pm in Peterhead Methodist Church everyone welcome. More details soon. Just make a note to attend al three weeks to learn about the basics of our faith.
